RING 핑거 단백질 83 (RNF83)이라고도 알려진 TNF 수용체 관련 인자 4 (TRAF4)는 인간에서 TRAF4 유전자 에 의해 인코딩되는 단백질 이다.[5] [6] [7]
TRAF4는 비계 단백질 계열인 TNF 수용체 관련 인자(TRAF) 계열의 일원이다.[8] TRAF 단백질은 IL-1R /Toll 수용체와 TNF 수용체를 NF-κB 와 미토겐 활성 단백질 키나제 활성화로 이어지는 신호 요인과 연결한다. 그러나 TRAF4는 TNF 수용체와 상호작용하는 것으로 알려져 있지 않고 세포 기능도 잘 파악되지 않는다.[9]
단백질 상호작용 TRAF4는 신경트로핀 수용체 p75 ([10] [11] NTR/NTSR1)와 상호 작용하고 NTR 유도 세포사멸과 NF-카파 B 활성화를 부정적으로 조절하는 것으로 나타났다. 이 단백질은 NAD(P)H 산화효소 로 알려진 다단백질 복합체에 포함된 세포독성 규제 인자인 p47pox 에 결합하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 따라서 이 단백질은 MAPK8 /JNK의 산화 활성화에 관여하는 것으로 생각된다. 또는 분할된 대본 변형이 관찰되었지만 단 하나의 전체 길이 특성이 결정되었다.[7]
최근 보고서에 따르면 TRAF4는 NOD-Like 수용체 NOD1과 NOD2에 바인딩되며, 특히 활성화된 NOD2-RIP2 복합체에 의한 NF-164B 의 활성화를 억제한다.
