Omatikaya clan

The Spirit Tree is a sacred site for the Reef People of the Metkayina clan situated deep under the waters of the Cove of the Ancestors. Similar to the Tree of Voices or the Tree of Souls for the Omatikaya clan, the Spirit Tree is the Metkayina’s main access point to Ewya’s neural network providing memories, stored “spirits” of their ancestors and even oxygen allowing for prolonged sessions underwater.

The Tree of Souls is a sacred site for the Na’vi and their closest connection to Eywa. At the center of a caldera-shaped enclave is a tall willow-like tree with long, bioluminescent tendrils and a large root system that radiates out. The Na’vi link to Eywa through the tree to petition for guidance, perform a healing rite or to express gratitude for maintaining the balance of life.
