Great Sea Rules are a mechanic in Hyrule Warriors Legends.[1]

Overview

Great Sea Rules are additional challenges for Battles in the Great Sea Map and the Master Wind Waker Map, which can be seen on the Battle-Information Screen. They are caused by Sea Hazards, which can be found on the Battle's tile in the Search Screen. These Hazards can be removed using certain Item Cards, which also results in their Great Sea Rule being removed from that tile.
