Features and Overview
The Hall of Secrets is located within the Maku Tree. Inside, Link can find Farore, the Oracle of Secrets. She stands behind a desk, between a series of pillars and Braziers.
Once one game in the Oracle Series is completed, Link will receive a Linking Secret which will allow him to begin a Linked Game in the remaining game. If Oracle of Seasons is completed, Link will receive the Labrynna Secret, or if Oracle of Ages is completed, Link will receive the Holodrum Secret.
From that Linked Game, Link can bring Secrets back to the original game file, where they can be exchanged for a variety of Items. Once exchanged, the person Link gave the Secret to will give him another Secret, one that can be brought to the Linked Game file to obtain the same Item in that game. This Secret can be brought to Farore in the Hall of Secrets.[3][4] Once given the Secret, either Farore will make a Treasure Chest containing the Item appear in the middle of the Hall, or Link will receive the Item immediately.[5]
Any Secrets that Link learns will be recorded in Farore's Memory in the game in which they were learned.
In the top right corner of the Hall is a stairway that leads to the upper branches of the Maku Tree, which can only be accessed once enough Essences of Time or Nature have been gathered to allow the Maku Tree to grow.[how many?]
