first off, my apologies if this has already been covered somewhere else.. I did look, but couldn't find a clear answer. I have a 2020 MacBook Pro M1, which I have been using with a LG 34GP950G monitor. while I had the laptop lid closed, I accidentally changed the refresh rate in the Settings app, and my external display went black. when it didn't come back on, I opened the laptop lid again to see what was going on, and then my LG did come on again. but it no longer comes on when I have the laptop lid closed. is there anything in MonitorControl that could help me resolve this issue? |

ok, so.. I posted the same question in the Discussions list for BetterDisplay Pro, and it turns out that app includes a "Configuration Protection" feature that resolved my issue in 3 clicks. weeks of headaches, resolved in seconds... lol. I'll keep this app in mind for future, but in the meantime, my issue is resolved. :) |
