This would definitely be more of a long term thing, as it would have to check for an update from the github on each launch of the program. Not sure if this should be defaulted to on or off.

Side note, are there any special procedures for updating this program? I assume it's just delete the folder and then download the new one, but I don't want to assume before I add anything to the wiki.
