The hgvs.easy interface is problematic because it makes too many decisions for users and is configurable only by environment variables.

hgvs.easy it to hgvs.extras.easy (as-is) and mark it as deprecated/unsupported. Implement a new hgvs.easy that fails on import and directs the user to the unsupported version.
