bugfix for v1.7 changes

bugfix release only.
Except that the bugfix lead to some potentially significant internal standardization using new variable
ZFSGETLVAL
So I'm bumping the minor version to sort of indicate a .0 type release.
(I would make it 1.7.0, but... I hate long strings and autotruncate :-/ )

Improved portability when used on gentoo, nas4free, freebsd

Not an official release. Just a convenience reference point before I do wierd things to zrep init.

Fixed bug introduced by attempted use of /usr/bin/lockf a while back.
Bad buggy implementation. cant think of a simple clean one, so removed entirely.

Just added a 'version' command line option, by user request
