• Release 0.4.x

  In this release we want to have the MediaControl behave in a more modular way. We think of splitting it into a main MediaControl plugin (the UICorePlugin from 0.3.x), which in turn will layout other MediaControlPlugin instances (those would represent individual controls, such as buttons or bars). This way, we can just define the MediaControl as having a visible/hidden state, and laying out the controls using some coordinate system. The default coordinate system will be a 9-sector system, representing vertical (top, middle, bottom) and horizontal alignments (left, right, center). We have a running version of this in the globo.com player, which we will generalize to allow for more custom layouts, as well as making easier to create new custom coordinate systems.

  This will the first release in a while with some breaking changes. In order to evolve, we need some Clappr components to become easier to customize, extend or replace. The first step is to change the Loader, MediaControl and Playback components.
