I really liked this, im also really new to Linux and all. And Hue sync is something I missed much, but this worked great on my machine (CachyOS). But something I used alot on Hue sync was music sync, and I loved it.

Now, theres no need to make it, but if you have the time and will, I would love it. Will still use this and understand if you won't make any kind of audio sync ever, or in the far future.
