musescore version
preamble
First off, I'm not 100% sure whether this is a MuseScore issue or an I3 issue, but I'm hoping to find out, and hoping to learn there is a solution in the i3 config-space.
Also for context, I am pretty new to i3, but I did look through the user guide for relevant terms.
the issue
Hover tooltips show too small -- at least initially. I'm hovering over one of the Articulations, and it has space enough for about two letters.
If I then am able to stay within the "hoverable item space" and over another one, and back to the first, the tooltip's bounding window is expanded to allow display of the whole tooltip.
what I've tried
I did start with for_window [window_type="tooltip"] floating enable in my ~/.config/i3/config, and tried commenting it out (followed by saving and $mod + shift + r to restart the wm), but that did not change the behavior.
logs
https://logs.i3wm.org/logs/6307748144742400.bz2
I tried to get as close to the issue boundary as possible.
