pona!
On the lipu Linku webapp, if you are viewing the page for a particular word, the search functionality effectively does not work.
The behavior appears as described via the following steps:
-
Navigate to the homepage (https://linku.la).
The webapp adds the query automaticallyhttps://linku.la/?q=. -
Click on a word, e.g. "akesi".
The app navigates properly tohttps://linku.la/words/akesi?q=. -
Type something (e.g. "poki") in the search bar.
Observe how the URL changes tohttps://linku.la/words/akesi?q=poki, but nothing else changes in the app. No navigation. -
Use the back button to navigate away from the word page and back to the search results.
The app briefly navigates to the search results with the typed query, including the URL being correcthttps://linku.la/?q=poki. -
Wait a moment.
The app redirects to the same page with the search query discarded. See the URL quickly change tohttps://linku.la/?q=.
Effectively, any search input gets discarded if you're already looking at a specific word. I would expect the search functionality to navigate away from the word route and bring me to the search results automatically, or at the very least, I would expect my search query to be preserved when I navigate away from the word page myself.
Thank you
