Description

https://www.pca-cal.ca/en/home

Description
Footer links include hidden text for screen readers indicating that the link will open in a new window (e.g., This link will open in a new window). However, this information is not visually conveyed to sighted users. As a result, users who rely on visual cues cannot anticipate that clicking the link will open a new window, which violates WCAG 1.3.1 – Info and Relationships.
Impact

Sighted users lack critical context about link behavior.
Creates inconsistent experience between assistive technology users and sighted users.
May cause confusion or disrupt workflow when unexpected new windows open.
