This package contains integration tests for Elide, and is executed as part of the maven verify lifecycle.
The integration tests require a local mysql instance running with a database called root. It should be accessible by
user root with password root. The maven verify lifecycle uses the jcabi-mysql-maven-plugin to bring up a mysql
server with these settings. In order to run integration tests in IntelliJ, you will need to bring up your own mysql
instance with the same configuration.
The integration tests must be executed against a concrete data store implementation. The maven lifecycles automatically manage this for inmemory and jpa. If you want to run integration tests in IntelliJ against another store than the inmemory store, there are two simple steps to follow.
- Create a new JUnit run configuration that targets the integration test you want to run (e.g.
FilterIT) - Change "Use classpath of module" to the data store you want to run the integration test against
(e.g.
elide-datastore-jpa) - Set the dataStoreHarness property in VM options
(e.g.
-DdataStoreHarness=com.yahoo.elide.datastores.jpa.JpaDataStoreHarness)
