Let's look into adding adapters to reads to increase NEAT's realism. This would allow us to use truncated reads (they just are padded out with adapter sequence). If not that, the let's alternatively look into producing a fastq that seems as though it has been passed through fastp trim sequences or similar and see what that looks like.
