One Outs has high production values, many nice ideas and a handful of great moments, but is also hampered by overlong dialogues, tedious overexplanations that feel downright condescending to the viewer and generally flat writing.
Honoroble mention goes out to the incredibly gay OP, which is amazing but completely unrepresentative of the series itself.
Worth a watch if you're into baseball or mindgames.
