Variable Geo tries to be something it isn't. I just haven't figured out whatever it tries to be, though.
The animation is okay, bit standard but 1996 is already old enough to be able to forgive that. So it's just standard, default and at least the characters look decent enough. The girls have lots of bunching boobs, so I guess that's something you have to like. But the word dominating this animation would be 'average'.
The voices are okay. Not much to say about it, since there is nothing outstanding nor nothing really bad. The OP and ED song are okay as well. All in all pretty average.
The story. Yes, finally something which I can tell more about, since it has about as much story as the dog of the neighbourhood can tell you.
Waitresses in a fight, where at random places entire Ring-fights on the street take place wherever they stand? And with the loser taking the clothes off, this series' plot lacks an awful lot. The story tries to be something like a Streetfighter Ecchi series, but while they kept the ecchi level pretty low (it doesn't happen THAT much that someone loses), also the main story is pretty bad. It's again the underdog with a lot of power against the evil wannabe rule-them all, which is not even original - but even badly done as well with a little hint of a James Bond-thingy integrated which is discarded halfway the series already.
Characters have very few to no development, except for Yuka who gets a really tiny bit more, just because she's the main character. But for most other characters you might not even know their names, or have already forgotten about them. Some of the characters in the OP-song which seem to be important, only appear for about 2 minutes in the entire OVA, which says enough about the characters. Nobody got any depth, and even the fightscenes lack quite a lot.
Rewatch value? I doubt this has any, or you must like ecchi action without plot or any commencable characters. You might as well watch some hentai, which might have as much, if not more plot than Variable Geo.
Enjoyment is also far from the truth. It's that it's only 3 eps, because this is quite some waste of time to me and I'm actually glad it was just 3 episodes, so I didn't have to spend too much time on it. In the end: weak (or rather, nonexistent)plot with only average voices, music and animation doesn't make this anything worth watching.
