Puzzle Post Bulletin, a sheet every MondayBratislavaSeason 2026/27

A puzzle for your next issue, every Monday.

Every Monday you get one printable logic puzzle sized for a single newsletter column, with its solution, as a PDF and as a 300 dpi PNG. You print it in your bulletin, in as many copies as you print.

What lands in your inbox

An A4 PDF and a US Letter PDF with the puzzle on page one and the solution on page two, and the same puzzle block and solution block as PNG at 300 dpi, 945 pixels across, for Word, Canva or InDesign. The block is 80 mm wide, which is one column of a two column A4 newsletter, and it is black and white line work with no grey.

A weekly Puzzle Post Bulletin block: the title, the date, a Killer Sudoku grid, the rules and the credit line, printed in black and white

This is the block of Monday 21 September 2026, exactly as it comes out of the file. Nothing here is a mock-up.

Two plans, one publication.

Both plans licence the same weekly sheet for one publication of yours, and both are cancelled in one click in the Stripe portal. Pro adds two more puzzles a week and covers the website of that same publication.

Puzzle Post Bulletin

19 €a month, VAT included

One puzzle a week, medium difficulty. Print it in one publication of yours, in as many copies as you print.

  • four files every Monday: A4 PDF, US Letter PDF, puzzle block PNG, solution block PNG
  • a year costs 190 €, which is 38 € less than twelve months paid one at a time
  • cancel in the Stripe customer portal at any time, and every week you already got stays yours

Puzzle Post Bulletin Pro

39 €a month, VAT included

Three puzzles a week, easy, medium and hard, each a different type. The web edition of that same publication is covered too.

  • twelve files every Monday, the same four for each of the three puzzles
  • a year costs 390 €, which is 78 € less than twelve months paid one at a time
  • the puzzle may also go on the website of that one publication, including its PDF edition

Paying starts delivery at once. The first sheet is sent to the address you paid with right after the payment, whichever day it is, and every following Monday brings the next one. Nothing is unlocked on this page, because the files arrive by e-mail.

One publication, as many copies as you print.

  • Yes, print itIn one publication of yours: a parish sheet, a school paper, a club newsletter, a works magazine, a printed programme. The print run does not matter, and neither does whether you give it away or sell the publication.
  • Yes, redraw itCrop the block, drop the frame, set the rules in your own type, put the solution somewhere else. It is your page.
  • Yes, the web too, on ProBulletin Pro also covers putting the same puzzle on the website of that one publication, including its PDF edition. The Bulletin plan is print only.
  • No resaleYou may not sell the puzzle on its own, put it in a puzzle book or a puzzle app, or pass the files to another publisher. The puzzle comes with your publication, not instead of it.
  • One publication per licenceTwo magazines from the same house need two subscriptions. If that is awkward for you, write to support@arling.sk and we will work out a price rather than lose you.
A folded white newsletter with an empty puzzle grid embossed on its front page and a short copper pencil laid across it.

This is the licence in plain words, and it is the whole of it. There is no separate contract to sign and nothing is watermarked.

A year of Mondays, not a promise.

The first 52 weeks are built, measured and waiting, from Monday 21 September 2026 to Monday 13 September 2027. That is 156 puzzles: one a week for Bulletin and three a week for Pro.

The types rotate through ten kinds of logic puzzle: Killer Sudoku, Anti-knight Sudoku, Kakuro, Nonograms, Star Battle, Slitherlink, Hashi, Masyu, Nurikabe and Numberlink. A Pro week never has the same type twice, and over ten weeks every type turns up at each of the three difficulties.

Each puzzle is built by a program that also solves it. The solver is asked to find two solutions; the puzzle is kept only if it finds exactly one, and only if it reached that one by applying rules, never by putting in a number to see whether the grid falls apart later.

Every puzzle that goes out is struck off our register, so it cannot come back in another week, in our puzzle books, in the monthly Puzzle Post issue or in the free daily games. That is checked against our own catalogue when the week is built; it is not a claim about anyone else's puzzles.

Before you pay.

What exactly do I get each week?

For every puzzle in your plan: an A4 PDF, a US Letter PDF, a PNG of the puzzle block and a PNG of the solution block. Both PDFs have the puzzle on page one and the solution on page two. Both PNGs are 945 pixels wide, which is 80 mm at 300 dpi, on white.

The Bulletin plan gets one puzzle a week, so four files. Bulletin Pro gets three puzzles a week, so twelve.

Will it fit my column?

The block is 80 mm wide. A two column A4 newsletter with 15 mm margins has columns of roughly 85 mm, so it fits with a little air. A three column page has columns of roughly 55 mm; scale the PNG down to that and it still prints at more than 200 dpi, which is sharper than most newsletters need.

Being honest about the limit of that claim: we measured the block in our own finished files, not in your layout. If it does not sit right, write to support@arling.sk with your column width and we will send you the block at that width.

When does the e-mail arrive?

The first one right after you pay, with the current week. After that every Monday morning, sent from our own server at 06:00 UTC. If an e-mail does not arrive, write to support@arling.sk and we will send the links by hand; we would rather do that than have you wait a week.

Do the links expire?

Yes, 30 days after the e-mail. Save the files you want to keep, or write to support@arling.sk and we send fresh links for any week you paid for. The links are signed for your subscription, so there is no password to lose. Please do not forward them.

Can I skip a week or use an older one?

Yes. Nothing is dated inside the puzzle except the line under the title, and that line says the Monday the puzzle was sent, not a deadline. If you print monthly, keep four of them and use them when it suits you.

How do I cancel?

In the Stripe customer portal, where you log in with the e-mail address you paid with. You can cancel or change the plan at any time and it stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. Every week you already received stays yours to print.

Do I get a receipt or an invoice?

Link (Sold through Link, LLC), the seller (merchant of record) at the Stripe Managed Payments checkout, e-mails a receipt for every payment, including every renewal. The checkout has no field for a company VAT number; the receipt uses the name and address entered at checkout. If you are buying for a parish, a school or a company and need the document made out to it, write to support@arling.sk before you pay and we will tell you exactly what the document will show, rather than promise it here.

Can I get my money back?

Yes. If you buy as a private person, you can withdraw within 14 days of paying without giving a reason: an e-mail to support@arling.sk is enough, and we send the money back within 14 days to the card you paid with. How to do it, with a form you may but need not use, is on our withdrawal page, which is in Slovak; an e-mail in English is just as good.

If a file is broken, a puzzle is wrong or an e-mail never arrived, write to support@arling.sk at any time and we will fix it or send the money back, whether you bought as a private person or for a parish, a school or a company. The sample is free and is a whole real week, so you can see what you get before paying.

How is this different from your monthly issue?

The monthly Puzzle Post is a book of 100 puzzles for one reader on an e-ink tablet, 3.90 € a month. This is a licence for a publisher: one puzzle a week, sized for a printed column, with permission to print it for your readers. The puzzles never overlap, because every puzzle that goes into either one is struck off the same register.
