Everything here is a file, so nothing is shipped: you try a free sample first, pay through Stripe, and a person answers if anything goes wrong.

How the files reach you

The five one-off titles and the detective kit show their links on the product page as soon as the payment is confirmed and send the same links by e-mail. The printable puzzle books unlock on their page only, in the browser you paid in, with no e-mail. Puzzle Post and Bulletin arrive by e-mail. No account to make.

Refunds and withdrawal

You can withdraw within 14 days without giving a reason (our terms, section 5), and the samples are free so you can see the pages first. If a download is missing or a file is broken, we fix it or arrange a refund where appropriate. Terms, withdrawal and privacy are public.

Who you are buying from

ARLing s. r. o. in Bratislava publishes the books, and Andrej answers at support@arling.sk. The payment itself is sold through Link (Sold through Link, LLC, Stripe's merchant of record service): Link takes the payment, sends the receipt and invoice, and Stripe pays the VAT. How we work.

Our own program typesets every page. The covers of the novels, Morning Quiet and Puzzle Post are AI-generated pictures commissioned by the publisher.

What do I receive?

These are digital products, so nothing is shipped. The five one-off titles and the detective kit unlock their links on the product page after payment and send the same links to the address you paid with. The printable puzzle books unlock on their page only, in the browser you paid in, and send no e-mail. Puzzle Post and Bulletin deliver new puzzles by e-mail. Puzzle Studio is a browser tool with a free allowance and paid plans, and its licence key is put straight into your browser.

Can I try before buying?

The book pages linked above offer free PDF samples. Puzzle Studio lets you make two puzzles a day for free. Try an e-ink sample on your own device before buying. The daily browser puzzles are free too.

Is this a one-time purchase or a subscription?

Each offer is labelled. The downloadable books and Puzzle Planner are one-time purchases. Puzzle Post, Puzzle Studio and Bulletin offer monthly or yearly subscriptions. See the product page for its plans; existing subscriptions can be managed from Account.

Will the PDFs work on my device?

The e-ink PDFs are sized 157 x 210 mm. We have not tested them on physical e-ink devices. Download a free sample and check the links and writing on your own tablet first. Most titles also include A4 and US Letter files; the format is shown beside each offer.

Is VAT included?

Yes. Prices on this page include VAT, so no VAT is added on top at checkout. Outside the euro area the checkout may show the price converted to your currency; according to Stripe, the exchange rate for that conversion includes a fee of 2 to 4 percent, which you do not pay if you choose to pay in euros. Payment runs through Stripe Managed Payments, so the seller (merchant of record) is Link (Sold through Link, LLC), the checkout reads Sold through Link and your card statement shows LINK.COM* ARLING, Link sends the receipt and the invoice as a PDF, and Stripe pays the VAT to the tax office. ARLing s. r. o. makes and delivers the files. We cannot add a field for a company VAT number to this checkout. If your company needs a document with its own details, write to support@arling.sk before you pay and we will tell you honestly what is possible.

What if I need help with a purchase?
