Excellent bike (M500)

Excellent bike (M500), great price, arrived promptly. The staff know their stuff should you have any questions & are very approachable via the phone. It was important to me to not have to deal with an overseas company should any issues arise with the bike - which I can happily say has not, with nearly 2000kms on the odometer!

Finally rode it

Carried 2 folding bikes inside Jeep Grand Cherokee to Mallacoota for enjoyable ride around the inlet. They are strongly made with a small weight penalty for being folding. The step through design was great for seventy year olds. Plenty of power and battery life never really tested. Biggest and annoying issue was having to get a longer seat post. This should be an upfront option!

Very happy with the bike so far …

Very happy with the bike so far (although the gearing is fairly low). The bike arrived quickly and was well packed with absolutely no instructions - I discovered all instructions and warranty form are available on the website. I filled out warranty form and submitted and asked for confirmation receipt - still haven't received it. 2 screws that secured the rear mudguard were too long so I spaced them out with a nut, 2 weeks later shorter screws turned up in the post with a picture - no other info or explanation.

Hi Nigel, thank you for your constructive feedback, it is appreciated. Assembly instructions for all of our models are found on our website, with step by step instructions accompanied by photos to make the process as easy as possible to follow.

I am sorry that your warranty registration was not confirmed at the time that it was sent to us. I believe our customer service team contacted you to rectify this oversight. The company has since implemented an easier Warranty Registration process that can be completed online from the Warranty Page on our website, and a copy is automatically emailed to our customers to alleviate this problem moving forward. I believe your feedback in this regard was instrumental in the decision to improve the Warranty Registration process for our customers moving forward.

The issue with the rear mudguard screws being too long with one series of our Urban E-Bikes was identified soon after they arrived, and all customers who had purchased these models, were sent out the correct parts to replace these screws, along with a self explanatory photographic diagram.

I hope you are still enjoying your UB600 Urban E-Bike and once again thank you for your valuable feedback.

Save a lot of time researching- this e bike ticks all the boxes

From time of test ride of UB 420 in Melbourne till delivery, the service and communication has been top class. Twenty minutes to assemble following easy instructions then off on test ride.
No pressure selling, options offered after trying other brands. Decided on step through style and have done 65 km incident free. Hills and head winds no more. Really happy with purchase.
My bike riding group reckons it’s a smart looking unit.

Despite misgivings about receiving such merchandise (self assembly)
by email order the whole procedure went smoothly. Even got to use
all the parts supplied when assembling the E bike thanks to the instructions
found on the internet.

Excellent service start to finish and…

Excellent service start to finish and fantastic bike UB 600. I test rode three different models and went home and ordered the UB 600, it was delivered within a week and was easy to assemble and ready to ride! The only issue I had was the front brake was not operating properly and needed fluid\bleeding. Contacted Fishaw and was informed to take bike to a bike shop and they would reimburse any costs! Which they did same day.
I have traveled approx 500 kms and impressed with all aspect’s including comfort, operability, performance and range on battery.
Highly recommended!

Awesome service

Awesome service, I was very apprehensive buying interstate but everything was as promised and fuss free. Bike was for my wife, hadn’t ridden in over 20 years, now can’t keep her off it😊
Pleasantly surprised by the level of finish and performance, hopefully it continues that way. Overall highly recommended

I recently bought a M300 mountain ebike…

I recently bought a M300 mountain ebike and am loving taking on the back roads around Canberra. I also want to thank Fishaw for their awesome service when the motor on the new bike had an issue. Their service was so good after several phone calls, they flew someone to Canberra to replace the motor, no charge. Well done guys!!

Very easy to decide and purchase a bike…

Very easy to decide and purchase a bike on line. Delivery was a little slow. When the delivery driver delivered the bike and left it in front of the stairs in the driveway. Very unsafe. A knock on the door or an sms message would have been appreciated.

Purchased the M500/UB420

Purchased the M500. Have done 500 km very happy with bike only had to tighten the spokes on the rear wheel,easy just brought a spoke tool (maintenance) good customer
service.
Also just purchased the wife the new UB420 great bike no issues, performance excellent and both bikes shipped to WA with no hassles

Great bikes

My wife and I purchased 2 of the Fishaw Mountain M300 e-bikes 3 months ago and have racked up a little over 500k's combined.  These bikes are freakin' awesome!

We wanted a bike that looked and felt like a traditional mountain bike, was street legal and comfortable on moderate trails, like the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail.  Those 27.5" wheels and fat tyres just soak up rough tracks.  But if you are wanting to get air or jump rocks and logs, look elsewhere.

So far we've had one warranty repair after the charge port on one of the bikes was faulty, Fishaw promptly organised the repair through a local auto-electrician.

Some comments from the bike shop mechanic after we'd completed the mandatory 160k service (be sure to read the warranty!!);
- the bikes are well constructed, quality welding, heavy duty wheels and spokes
- spokes on both bikes needed tightening
- the Bafang motors seemed more powerful and the bikes were cheaper than similar product sold from that store.

Stunning Bike Superb Service

Opened the boxes and discovered 2 E bikes that look like they should have cost double what I paid. 1 month on and after plenty of riding, I know these bikes are exceptional value. So, they just dont look amazing they ride and function comfortably and easily. I get so many comments like" where did you get it " and " wow that looks more expensive than my car".
Then there is the faultless after sales service. A rare commodity these days.
If I had a bike shop, Fishaw would be my prime brand. Just buy one, you wont be dissappointed, so what it is not adorned with Bosch gear, for the everyday commute or fun ride, Fishaw and Bafang are a perfect match.

Fishaw UB420 first experience

Hello,
It is a great bike, thanks. I received the bike recently of your 2022 edition, which was a bonus, when paying on the 1st January 2022 with free delivery. Thank you for a great surprise and a delivery gift. The bike was very easy to assemble. No issues. It is however still lacking vey much in performance compared to other bikes, such as vendor/factory settings limiting many functions that the bike can really perform.

All of our e-bikes drive systems have been programmed to comply with Australian legislation for pedalec e-bikes and can be ridden legally in public, anywhere that a conventional bicycle is allowed to be ridden.

5 Stars!!!

Nice bike. Well packaged and very prompt delivery. Probably should be 5 stars, but a couple of minor things I was not impressed by.
1. The brake levers were the reverse of normal (in Australia?). Rear on right, Front on left. A minor job to swap them over, but be careful not to spill the hydraulic fluid when detaching if your make this change.
2.The (rear) stand is too short to hold the bike safely upright when parked. It allowed the bike to lean too far over - almost to the point where it would overbalance if nudged. No big deal, simply drilled a new hole to ensure the stand extended out further allowing it to stand more upright and stable.

Apart from those two minor matters, I would rate the bike excellent. Easy to operate. Good to look at - it gets lots of compliments and admiring looks. Pleasant to ride. Great assistance when climbing steep hills. Battery seems to last forever.

I really should have given it 5 stars!!!

Can’t fault the bike or the service

Can’t fault the bike or the service. I was a bit worried about sight unseen purchase but need not have worried. I gave up riding my mountain and commuter bike last year whenI turned 80 but missed it so much that I ordered the M-300 .It is one week today since I assembled it and have just finished 158 kms.Those hills are almost enjoyable now and am still burning around the 1000 cals. a trip.Thanks heaps David from Stansbury

Great Power and Range

Purchased the M300 in early January. It took a couple of rides to get used to the extra weight and size in comparison to my old MTB. But now it is an incredibly fun bike to ride, with a lot of power making it easy to get up the steepest trails in my area. The range is great 50km+ on-road and 35km+ on trails both with lots of hills.

The bike is great the only thing I…

The bike is great the only thing I found was that the tracking before the bike arrived didn't exist. From the time of payment till the bike arrived I didn't know where it was. I rang at one stage to make sure it was still on its way and that we hadn't been scamed. I really enjoy my new bike. Thanks

Thank you for your feedback, it is really appreciated. Our logistics partners have really let us down this year and there has been a frustrating lack of updated or sometimes, any tracking information from our couriers at times, despite having all of our e-bikes delivered by two of Australia's largest logistics companies; TOLL and TNT!

FiSHAW aims to dispatch all of our orders as quickly as possible, but unfortunately do not have any control once the e-bikes have been handed over to our couriers.

Our team have been just as frustrated as our customers, due to the lack of scanning of the consignments as they move through the delivery system and have spent considerable time chasing up delivery's for customers earlier this year. Hopefully the situation will continue to improve as the year progresses?!

Good value this far in.

Wife is very happy with the bike. Got her back into riding. The only issue was a few random screws and plastic bits were loose in the box when it was opened. Fishaw resolved the plastic bits by telling us where they went but no one responded to the loose screws. Still have them and never found a home for them. I think they are the same screws that hold the cover in place.
