Website and mobile app are very easy to use to enable bookings of tours.
On the downside the tours always started late and we received conflicting messages (by email and phone app) as to the meeting points. Made it very confusing and frustrating. Had to ring to confirm details.

I used GetYourGuide in the past and never seemed to have an issues. I used the platform in July to book Zoomarine in Algarve. I got a charge in my bank from this company for £77 which I have since found out it was from someone fraudulently using my card details, which aren’t saved on my account might I add. Once approached, they sent me the same copy and paste email stating they will look into it and it will take 2-3 days, I then got an email a few hours later with the conclusion of the ‘investigation’ stating that they can’t refund me due to their cancellation policy. I can’t cancel something I can’t book.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS THEY ARE A SCAM!

This food tour in Bordeaux was rearranged due to complications with our time spent in the city.bthe organisers could not have been more helpful. The tour itself was lead by Joshua, who was extremely knowledgeable, amenable, and generally a great person to be with. We recommend this tour unreservedly.

We had initially booked a day tour in a group, but then luckily we accepted an offer to upgrade to a private tour with a German-speaking guide, which was absolutely worth it. Zoro led us charmingly an eloquently through unknown corners of LA, off the beaten track of the travel guides, which is because we were very surprised at how interesting and diverse Los Angeles is. A big thank you to our cool guide, we would love to come back.

The tour was well organised. Instructions on the meeting point were sent to us with our tour confirmation and tickets. The tour bus although a bit small was very comfortable and clean. The guide was very knowledgeable and very helpful. He was also always on time at pick up points. We were lucky to see them seals. Snowdonia and Portmeirion and Swallow falls were a sight to behold. Thank you

A really easy to use app with great offers for tours, attractions and events around the world. We booked two tours in Rome and the instructions for collecting tickets, meeting our tour guide etc. were clear and easy to follow. You can also buy tickets with a refundable cancellation option which is something I had not seen with other ticket providers. I will definitely use GetYourGuide again

We used GetYourGuide for two excursions (Cannes and Mallorca) and both were great. User friendly app with all pertinent information on there. We cancelled one excursion two days prior in Ibiza without any problems.

The two experiences we booked with GetYourGuide went smoothly. I would prefer more communication from their end, such as a reminder or confirmation 24 hours before the tour (helps for reassurance) and to confirm the meeting point and time. Also I don't love that you can only access tickets through the app - yet another app to download that I will just be deleting when I'm done with it.

For the customers the website is good enough and actually user friendly. But when it comes to businesses, as a business owner, it's a tragedy, a buggy system.
The customer booked a wine tour and we received less amount than what we actually put in our system. It's been more than a week and their customer service is "still checking" and we're waiting for resolution.
Another issue: a customer cancelled a tour 2 hours before the tour start time and as per cancellation policy, they are not eligible for refund. But out of courtesy, I asked getyourguide customer service to refund the customer some amount (40EUR). What they did is that they refunded the customer fully, which I never asked. So totally unprofessional staff. I can't recommend them to any business.

- have problem communicating messages to vendors. I wanted to reschedule a trip but the vendor never replied. When I went on the scheduled tour the vendor showed to me that no emails from GetYourGuide came in

We absolutely loved this tour! Laura, our guide was fantastic. After meeting us, she walked us to the local marketplace where she explained everything about the ingredients for the food we would make. Our home-based cooking teacher was marvelous. She showed us how to prepare and cook our meals, then we all sat down to enjoy our work. What an amazing experience. We would recommend this to anyone who visits Merida!

Beautiful mountain vistas, three stunning lakes. The guide Teddy knew where to take us for the best views, even took pictures of and for us. He had a lot of information about the History and insight into nature and wildlife presentation. He was friendly, helpful and upbeat.

The website/ app holds your bank details after making a payment. My account was logged into (not by me) and events/ experiences were purchased (not by me) using my card. I told get your guide and they couldn’t do anything because after you book something (which I didn’t) they cannot give you a refund. FRAUD AND THEFT DO NOT USE!

This trip was amazing! My wife and I booked a private tour for Inthanon National Park which included visiting rice farms, and hiking through the village of the local people. We got up close and personal with beautiful waterfalls, witnessed women making beautiful textiles, traversed the mountainside jungle, and walked through beautiful rice paddies. Our tour guide Aus was amazing. He shared alot of knowledge about the area and knew of many great spots for us to stop throughout. The van was very comfortable, leather reclining seats, and good A/C. We also stopped for a traditional Thai lunch feast that left our bellies full and happy. Unfortunately, the weather did not make for a good time to visit the peak of Don Inthanon. We will visit again when the season provides a clear sky, and we will definitely book through Aus!

I booked and paid a tour with GetYourGuide only to get a message one day before the tour date that the tour is overbooked and therefore my participation is cancelled. Sure, I will get my money back but how can the tour be overbooked afterwards and not just get sold out when the actual bookings are made? My plans were ruined as there were no other tours available for that date last minute.

A vital travel app. Many experiences at what seem to be best prices (ask other travellers the price they've paid). Used for 2-3 years, including in Antalya, Orlando and Prague. Only one weekend ticket date change that caused an issue at the gate, which was resolved via WhatsApp.

We used GYG to book a tour of the Cordoba Mosque Cathedral and everything went according to plan. The guide was excellent, very knowledgeable about the history of this fascinating place. The app works extremely well and kept us well prompted before the event

We enjoyed the Windsor Castle and St George Chapel tour! The audio guide makes it easier to understand what we were looking at. The audio guide was very informative and interesting to listen to.
We especially enjoyed the St George’s Chapel where we could pay respects to Queen Elizabeth II and see where she was interred. it was a very moving experience.
