KT..Full Swing..Pensiangan Jan 15th Kuching 9th..Going Ahead

Cindy of audie61 writes from Sabah saying that she has received an sms that Jan 15th is the hearing of Tan Sri Kurups case which was scheduled today has been postponed. The “little light” of a by-election in Sabah is still on and most people are eagerly awaiting for the hearing. Pensiangan awaits the decision of the Federal court in Putrajaya.

Meanwhile in KT even the dead has not been left out. In this Malaysiakini report http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/96001 former MP Razali Ismail’s name echoes on as both contesting parties try to capitalise on the popular deputy education minister’s past.

 BN candidate Wan Ahmad Farid himself has pledged to continue Razali’s legacy, such as by continuing free tuition classes for the underprivileged.PAS, on the other hand, seeks to highlight Razali’s  image as a ‘clean’ politician in a corrupt party who was eventually ostracised and sidelined for refusing to succumb to vote buying in the party polls.

Even PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang, another speaker at the beach-side ceramah last night, waxed lyrical on Razali’s ‘clean’ image. “I’m very appreciative of Razali. He is like us. If he is still alive, he would have joined our party,” he declared.

Meanwhile in Kuching,Sarawak the organising committee has been very busy in their preparations and has not left any stones unturned. A lot of members were seen coming in and out of the Stampin Division headquarters and carrying out their assigned duties as the function is only two days away. Even the persistent rain did not deter their spirits.

Former Deputy Chairman Baharuddin Mohksen and former legal advisor See Chee How and his team was going through all the details to ensure an incident free function.  The allocations of tickets and the selling of the tables has gone down well and we are only putting up 400 Tables.

 A member said to audie61.”Its better to be safe than sorry” as to fully utilised to push it to the limit of 450 tables would be just too JAMMED PACKED and they would be inconveniences later.

Its a go ahead even if it rains says See Chee How BUT I’m sure the weather would be kind to us. He hopes though, and so are PKR colleagues who are all looking forward to this grandiose event of ‘Ushering in the New Year with PKR”  See You there is the message…….
