Biography
Karen Gonzalez Pittman was born and lives in Tampa, Florida. Pittman earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education and a master's degree in education from the University of South Florida in 1984 and 1989, respectively. Her career experience includes working as the vice president of public affairs of Vein Treatment Centers and Health Performance Specialists. Pittman served as a board member of the Florida Medical Association Political Action Committee, a legislative committee member of the Florida Medical Association Alliance, and the president of the Hillsborough County Medical Association Alliance.[1][2]
