Ted Dalton
Ted Dalton (1901-1989) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia.[1]
Dalton was nominated by President Dwight Eisenhower on July 21, 1959, to a seat vacated by John Paul, Jr.; he was confirmed by the Senate on August 12, 1959, and received his commission on August 13th. He served as chief judge from 1960-1971. He assumed senior status on October 12, 1976, and served in that capacity until his death on October 30, 1989.[1] Dalton was succeeded in this position by Glen M. Williams.
