Edwin DeHaven Steel, Jr. (1904-1986) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.

Steel was nominated by President Dwight Eisenhower on March 26, 1958, to a seat vacated by Paul Leahy; he was confirmed by the Senate on April 22, 1958, and received his commission on April 23rd. He assumed senior status on December 30, 1969, and served in that capacity until his death on July 26, 1986.[1] Steel was succeeded in this position by Walter Stapleton.
