It’s a great low impact way to start getting blood flow into your knees and bring healing. Next, we work on building strength through our feet, ankles, and into our calves with slant board calf raises, bent knee calf raises, and tibialis raises. Each of these three exercises help strengthen your lower leg, which plays a huge role in protecting your knees. Then we move into training the knee directly with the Poliquin step up. Here we’re getting into a bit more short range knees over toes training.
