By in Netherlands,

These sets came out in my dark ages. I never really liked them because of all the stickers and I especially thought this model was rather ugly. Now I wouldn’t mind having them ;)

I did not know this one, it's an excellent rendition of this Ferrari, it looks great! The parts for the windshield are awesome and must be very useful. Excellent.

^^ I think, in 2005, that Lego themselves were just starting to come out of their dark ages. It was an odd year. We had those weird dinosaur sets, but also the Vikings.

Ah yes, from the time we just started to have enough sloped and curvy pieces to make building nice looking sportscars feasible. I tried it quite a bit myself, so I was thrilled to see Lego do it. And massively cheating by making a rather specialised (front) fender piece :) Still, they got their fair use of it. Look at how far we've come: https://brickset.com/sets/10248-1/Ferrari-F40

I don't care much for realism but this set does not look all that good really. Despite all the gaps around the design, 8653 looks cooler.

By in Germany,

I own this, I think. It's one of those sets that I bought used and then never got around to build myself. I did take it apart though. It's not bad, as far as I can judge from disassembling, but I prefer both Model Team and the newer Creator Expert vehicles.

By in United States,

I much prefer the FXX compared to the standard Enzo but I'll take just about any kind of automobilia in brick form. One of the things that bugged me about this set is the wheels sticking out past the fender line. I know it's hard because of the stud/part placement but visually it's annoying.

This was the first large vehicle set I got and I rather liked it. There was nothing else like it at the time. You have to remember this was pre cheese and and was probably the first 1x3 bow piece I ever got! The coolest thing was that it could be rebuilt into an LMP car as a B model, something that Lego has now sadly stopped doing.
