By in Australia,

Back to Sports, then? Y'know, I never even knew this one existed.

Sports again? Eh, Clickits will resume soon, I'm sure.

@Zordboy:
It's apparently from a Duracell promotion that was only available in a few European countries and South Africa, so there might not be any in Australia even now.

By in United States,

Where are my Clikets?!? I’ve come to depend on them every night to let off some steam.

As for the actual set, I believe I prefer the snowboard from the CMS a lot better. (That’s is not the same one, correct?)

Can we get some real snow sports sets? The only ones I've found have bizarre colors (41324) or bad layouts (31080) or seem to have been designed by someone who's never set foot on snow (30402). Winter Village ski lodge perhaps?

Man, this screams early aughts.

By in United Kingdom,

Clikits are less offensive than the facial expressions from this era.

“Did you...draw on stubble marks?”
“What? No...”

By in Bulgaria,

What are the chances that it will feature such an obscure set that I actually own?

Im still thinking Lego not having sports sets now as a big wasted oppurtinity.

@tspike:
Yeah, I really think it would be so great of TLG to start producing a new ‘sports’ theme, especially some sets focused on snow sports. Yeah even though I don’t own 31080 (and TBH don’t really want to own it), the layout doesn’t look good, at least in pictures, and the builds frankly, look really weak. The front does look cool with the ‘built-in ski’ slope, but I think they could have done better...
The other sets don’t look too great either.
Yeah, a ski lodge IMO would also make a great addition to the Winter Village series.

By in Germany,

Is this snowboard compatible to my Clikits sets? Just wondering.

Very good mini set.

As far as sports figs go, this is at least not *totally* horrible.

This is a nice little promo. The face is definitely stylised in the fashion of the time, but it has it's charm.

Looks like he has a neck bracket, did this come with some kind or rod to puppet him with? That could be fun, and would make the basic scenery build useful.

@Your future president:
No, these had an action feature built in. The snowboards were weighted so you could place the snowboarder at the top of the slope and with a little push (and a lot of luck) they'd ride all the way down. I tried it once at NYTF and got all the way to the finish line, after which my guide remarked that this was the first time he'd seen anyone succeed. Mostly it just resulted in a wipeout. You know, like actual snowboarding that people do after they watch professional snowboarding on TV.

In addition to being weighted, the bottom won't attach to studs, where the CMF version will. It's also huge compared to the CMF version, being about 30-50% longer.

By in Netherlands,

This is the size of set you'd see in a Magazine gift these days.

Nice figure and snowboard too.

I'd replace the hat with an actual newer beanie design (2010 onward), because the one in the set is used a lot by criminals :D
