Missed out on this one. Really cool. And now for our obligatory "Bring back Castle!" chant. All together now!
So many great things about this set, the minifigures, the Castle Castle weapons/accessories, the piggy... I consider the 2008-2012 Castle line to be my favorite era for the theme.
Oh nice! Everyone needs a Fabuland big pot.

Bring back Castle, Bring back castle!
We need it now! We need it now!
We have rights! Bring back the Fright Knights!
Come on The Lego Group! We need a classic Castle troop!
Bring back Castle, Bring back Castle!
We need it now! We need it now!
We all want to see, the forestmens' tree!
Bring back Black Falcons, and all of the rest!
Because it is what we love the best!

That was epic
Ah, Kingdoms was great! I really wish we could get either more of these or the fantasy era sets again!
Wouldn’t it be funny if there were protesters outside LEGO’s HQ in Billund demanding the return of Classic Castle?
Protest leader: ‘What do we want?’
Protesters: ‘Classic Castle!’
Protest leader: ‘When do we want it?’
Protesters: ‘Now!’

Yes, please LEGO Bring back Castle! ... and while you are at it, please GiveUsTheGoat! We need more goats!
This calender looks grand. There is even sword in the stone, how thoughtful is that!
Ca-stle! Ca-stle!
A fantastic set, a full 8 minifigures (plus the skeleton), including some nice exclusives like the queen and prince, completing the royal family from the other sets.
It also had a ridiculous number of spare parts, like 2 extra swords for each sword, 2 extra wands for the wizard, even an extra hair piece for the prince... awesome!
Ahh, the good old days when Lego still made castle themes. Sadly, when the last castle line came out in 2013, I was too young to get many of the sets.
I would like to see advent calendars from new themes, like Lego did with the Harry Potter advent calendar.
Great on days where you get the blacksmith at his anvil. Maybe less so when all you get is a cauldron. Or a little bit of a tree

Same here. We’re in the same boat.
It's really nice to see the return of the Classic Blue Wizard from 1994 in this set...
I loved this set, that said the Fantasy Era Advent calendar was slightly better.
Wow, totally missed this one as well.
Nice to see the piggies from the Farm sets made it into this one too.
Servant: your majesty, why don’t you ever sit on your throne?
Queen: I just feel like standing up.
Servant: but your throne looks so comfortable...
Queen: SILENCE!
Yeah, this was a really superb advent calender. I really love the Kingdoms Castle theme from 2010 - 2012.
Kingdoms to me really was the epitome of what classic castle was about back in the eighties. Kingdoms and the fantasy era castle theme running from, I think, 2007 untill 2009/10 were absolutely wonderful!
This was a great Advent Calendar.
Gresat minifigs & mini builds.
I remember not being disappointed on any of the days.
Can't believe it was 10 years ago!
Was the only Pirates Advent calendar
My fav Advent of all time!
