Strange name.
Breathe in. Breathe out.
Breathe in. Breathe out.
Le Meh.
I had this one! It was one of my first sets, surprising since I was only 3 that my parents didn't get me a 4+ set instead, for a more basic build :P
What about Le Womans? What does she get to drive?

When the ground gets dry and not misting.
They're nice little polybags, but all those stickers just make me hyperventilate.
Nice one. I'd probably carry the windshield to the front. Love the colros and the sticker design.
My only source might be last years Ford v Ferrari, but that doesn’t look like Le Man to me.
These little 4-wide speedsters was the only application for the air scoop element on the lower front, the other times I see it it just feels forced.
Nice little car, I like the look of it and the sticker design. Le Mans is an interesting name, probably a reference to the Le Mans 24 hours race challenge from France.
I have this. Got it for free from school. It was one of my favourite Racers that I had. Cool stickers.
Interesting choice to have the studs on the side, those bricks are not al all essential to the build so it's entirely a choice for texture purposes. I wonder if at one point there were going to be 1x4 tiles to smooth it out, and they were either budgeted out, or removed for making the vehicle too wide? As is, it seems like the brackets add just enough width to align the body with the wheels.
@ElephantKnight:
A few years ago at Autorama (it’s like the North American International Auto Show, but with cars that are actually cool, and worth paying to see), my dad pointed out one particular car to me. It was called a “Le Femme” (maybe “La Femme”), and it was one of the first cars to be marketed specifically to women. He also mentioned the name of the shade of pink used for the paint job. That name would probably get you beaten up today...
This shape does not resemble any endurance racer that I know of. With an overdose of imagination, the Nissan GT-R LM Nismo comes close, but that one has been designed 6 years after this Lego set's release.
The long bonnet also looks weird with the engine still in the back. Really curious about the design process of this one.... and how they associated this with an endurance racer.
@Paski:
Because it looks fast?
@Huw Vonado Bricks is selling the instructions to Huwbot on their website. I just thought you should know, maybe you can shut them down?
This was one of my first ever sets. I think it’s what made me like Racers so much.

I can't vouch for any other product on the site, but they are not selling instructions, just the parts. The item listing links to the instructions on Rebrickable where Eero posted them for free. I don't necessarily agree with the use of the design, though.
