Second day in a row of sets that sound like they are Ice Planet sets but aren't.
So we're sticking with the alliteration, then?
Are we going to get right the way through the alphabet?
Yellow car!
*punch*
Cool.
Cruiser.
Pretty nice looking for the price.
Cool Cruiser though? Really? That’s the best they could have come up with? Why not something like sport car that is more wide stream, idk.
I personally would have gone with Hot Cruiser as a name.
And I guess that’s why Lego turned down my job application. Among other reasons. Like background checks ;)
I’m probably joking
This looks like Poochy’s car.
I have this one! I remember finding it boxed at the legoland in Florida (USA) but then seeing the same set (same set number and everything) with a significantly different piece count - like 50 or 60 pieces different? Could never figure out why.
That's wild I just built this set yesterday!
I remember getting this car as a holiday gift and being disappointed with how inconsistent the yellow pieces were (varying levels of paleness vs orangeness).
Unique: None
Rare: 3
6060 1x6x3 bow in yellow x2
41749 3x8x2 triple curved shell Right in yellow x1
41750 3x8x2 triple curved shell Left in yellow x1
Lore?
For some reason, I feel the urge to shove the bonnet into Batman's mouth.
12-wide? That’s way too huge for minifigs! You could fit an entire family of minifigs in each seat. It needs to be a lot smaller.
It's a cruiser alright, but cool... Is it really?

It's not supposed to be minifig scale, more like maxifig scale.
When this set came out, it looked like a good companion to 4896 Roaring Roadsters and 4993 Cool Convertible (some of my favorite large-scale car sets). I can't say I was disappointed when I got it, but it certainly wasn't on the level of the previous two. Its construction felt too simple and the front fender looks very ugly. I ended up sorting the pieces to my part collection.

This car probably is as cool as you can get with the Creator 3 in 1 low budget.
Probably chilly from coming out of that blizzard yesterday, thats why its so cool

It is 14-wide.
The replacement for the 4993 white Cool Convertible (2008) was never as popular, with the secondary market price always noticeably lower for the same number of pieces. Maybe it was the yellow colour, didn't look as cool, or the alternative yellow racing car model was not as interesting as the white truck. This set did have lots of curved bricks, cheese pieces, so useful for parts and mocs at a lower secondary market price than found on other 3 in 1's at the time.
The seats and gearstick are nice I guess.

14-wide? Gah! That means they have room for their pets as well!

haha indeed! AT-AT, Blizzard Blazer, Cool Cruiser. What's next guys? 30312? 8303, 5887?
@Potters
Well done, but I think only one of those is eligible for RSotD.
This was before creator expert cars?

Yes, but 10220 was released the same year. I can't believe 10220 was produced so long. It was 10 years!
With the 4896 and 4993, a nice model.
Lego's one and only Creator car with 4 seats and steering until the Mustang came along. Love it!
Proof it doesn't have to be north of $125 and licensed to look good.
LEGO seems to have moved on from good looking, non-licensed sets quite a bit.
@Be_hapi:
Creator Expert wouldn't really be a formal thing for another two years, when 2013 brought that distinction to 10232.
