Noooo I got inb4'd! I was too busy looking at the other Vintage Sets of the Week because it looked familiar. Oh well, you did good.
Blue cylinder truck just arrive.
Ol’ Bessie, she didn’t give like she used to. These days, the truck mostly just hauled around empty shelves, but in her prime she could fill a whole swimming pool.
The lighting of the photo is really bad. Makes the white base plates look pre-yellowed.
Insta vintage.
This is the set that inspired George Lucas to put blue milk into his movie "The Star Wars".
My My... milk looked weird back then...
Invisible drivers were so smooth. Back then bottles didn't need restraining with racks or crates. Their immaculate driving was all that was required for safe transportation. Can't say the same for the minifigure boy-racers that followed!
One of the last sets I bought, for 55 new fangled pennies, before a 45 year break!

We just had 1581
All those lovely solid top 3062a pieces... oh how I miss them.
Scale’s weird. Those are some big jugs.
Came for the Star Wars jokes; was not disappointed!
Melk, de blauwe motor!
Was his name Ernie? Was he the fastest milkman in the west?

No, it was Two Ton Ted from Teddington and he drives the baker's van.

Leave milk out for 51 years and see what color you get.

Considering how century eggs look, this doesn't sound that unlikely for half-century milk...
Allowance money set back in the day I’m guessing, as this was less than a year before I was born.
This looks like the kind of set that's more of a supplemental thing rather than enjoyed as this set alone, some long plates, lots of wheels, a brick for a windshield, that printed grill and the hinge piece. Don't look at sets on their own! look at sets as potential to make other creations better!
"Now you have ordered 1000 liters of milk"
I just found this exact set for sale in a local e-commerce site. The chances of it happening are really, really low. 70s sets are extremely rare in Brazil since Lego only started being sold here officially circa 1984. I'm tempted to get it now.
