I only see one ground crewman. Why is the plane not landing. And HEY watch out, that plane engine is gonna turn you into spaghetti.

There's a fuel tanker on the runway.

I usually love the smaller Lego planes of this era, but in my opinion this particular promotional set is not on par with the others of the time due to using stickers for windows rather than actual window pieces.

By in Canada,

The pilot in this set has had a long and distinguished career, flying LEGO aircraft from 1985 to 1998. They pulled him out of retirement in 2004 to launch LEGO City.

No windows so you can't see the chemtrail tanks inside. ;)

I have 6368, and it's a little surprising how much this one has in common with a set that's 13 years older. Things started changing a lot, and changing pretty fast, a few years later.

Ah, Lego Airport...or "Accidents Waiting to Happen"...:D
Or, sign at airport: Number of Days Incident Free: DON'T ASK!!!
And (obligatorily):
Forkilift Operator: Hey Larry, where's the forklift?
Larry: Over there...(waves signal cones in direction of the forklift)
(Larry looks back in the direction of the plane he was directing...just in time to watch as it crashes INTO THE AIRPORT...):D

Stickered windows? That's just stupid. LEGO had perfectly good window pieces they could've used.

Maybe it’s like Lightning McQueen, and the stickers are for weight reduction and aerodynamics when racing, but they want to present the illusion of still being able to accommodate passengers because it’d look weird otherwise.

I find it interesting that this used a T-tail piece for the fin, but didn't actually have a T-tail.

@beige2: And he's not even wearing a cape!

Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue.

By in Austria,

The set looks bland without the creative touches. Besides, by 1998 Lego made new and sleeker looking windshield and slope pieces.

I love how the random fig of the day has a related theme with the random set of the day.

At least it’s not Timmy standing in the way again

By in Japan,

So basically a remake of an 80s plane, but worse by replacing the windows by stickers. Wasn't this the era that Lego wasn't doing that well?

By in Netherlands,

As far as the 80s/90s minifig planes go... this one's not on par with the rest due to the windows. But it still surprises me how it took more than a decade for planes to actually significantly change. This one is stil quite on point. Nay, nearly 2 decades!

Oh, and although we don't have a World City Plane level of alt versions, this one also has 2718 for a twin.

While wedges without stud holes were frustrating to use at times, they sure made a very clean looking plane. Those wings and that nose look great without a bunch of holes dotting the surface.

By in Germany,

I much prefer my copy of 6368
Looks more harmonious - and has proper windows.

By in Jersey,

I learned this week that the font used for the SYSTEM lettering is the typeface originally designed for Volkswagen Audi Group. Apparently.

What mountains? We’re over Iowa!

The… The cornfields, Ted! The cornfields!

Surely you can't be serious.

6368 could carry three passengers. This one can only carry two, but comes with some striking stickers.
