It even included a mini car? Dang, that's cool.

Doesn't look like it can transport much!

A CAR HAS FALLEN INTO THE RIVER IN LEGO CREATOR

My parents got this in a bulk lot of old LEGO sets on a date several years ago. I really like the transparent headlight bricks!

It doesn't transport anything; it's a transport chopper, so it chops transports.

No, it transports sw1308, chopper.

Can a minifigure fit inside of that chopper?

By in Canada,

@BaconKing:...maybe...but probably not 'intact' (as in 'arms and legs NOT included')...

By in New Zealand,

Get to the Choppa!!

By in United States,

I own this fun set. Love the color scheme and 6 large blades.

By in Germany,

Creator sets seems to me like MOC support sets. They give you ideas and parts, and let you loose. Anything without minifigs feels like that.

By in United Kingdom,

Get too close those massive rotors and you’ll see how much it lives up to the chopper part…

Sure. That car can fit in the cargo hold, and a minifig's not much bigger. You might have to leave the ramp lowered, so you don't inadvertently amputate some limbs, but I'm sure it can be done. Probably.

The motorcycle of the airways. I wonder what's the breakdown of number of Lego planes v. number of copters?

Your parents buy old Lego on dates? Who says romance is dead?

The bulkier 4995 Cargo Copter. I like how it even has tiny windows! That ferry secondary build looks nice too!

By in Australia,

Ah, the set that took me 10 years to try and get rid of.

Gravatar
By in Jersey,

Got this one in a bulk purchase too. So many good parts, yet almost worthless as a complete set.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

I said it before and I'll say it again, Creator is one of the best Lego themes out there.

By in Canada,

Back before one-piece rotors. Still looks good.

By in Sweden,

I own this. Well, it's in the parts bin now, but it is a great set. The chopper is quite cool (and I really like orange as a color). The alternative builds are a plane and a boat because what else would it be?

So it doesn't chop the minifigure, only the transport?

I remember picking this set up with my mum and building it the same day, great set.

By in Germany,

Wow, what a full-circle moment!
I got this set for my enrollment into primary school, and now here I am, mere days after my last Abitur (German high school diploma) exam.

Back then, the set seemed much more sizeable, but I still think it looks great. Unfortunately, despite me loving the set (and creator in general) to bits, it somehow ended up in pieces quite quickly, but I have been wanting to part it out again for years and this happy coincidence might just push me over the edge...

Well, that's what you get for loving it "to bits."
