By in Australia,

I was ambivalent about some of the soccer sets, but I love love loved the team buses. I picked up the black team bus because the colour scheme perfectly matched the Metroliner (that I'd also bought recently) so the public transport in my Lego city all matched, colour-wise.

So how standard is the practice to showcase more of the background art than the set? It's like somebody got mixed messages on where to place the set photo and the logo in PhotoShop.

@MCLegoboy It happened in all the 2000–02 soccer sets.

As simple as it is, the slider that seats no less than six minifigs is very effective!

is the guy in green the goalie or the driver?

^ He's doing double duty. Times are tough for Lego soccer players.

Somehow I ended up owning a bunch of these, which honestly isn't that much of a burden! A truly brilliant set, with the only imperfection being the lack of side windows next to the driver (which could have easily been remedied).

Technically it wouldn't be hard to do a bus set for Team DFB, but considering DFB minifigure series is limited release, a bus set would unlikely happen. Just wait till a future sport them in Creator of Friends.

I find it interesting that the background depicts the flags of Scotland and Wales separate from the UK's flag. Surely the UK flag must an England one instead?

As set designs go, I can see why it is hidden in the corner. Still, it looks like it would have been a useful parts pack. Those train windows in particular.

The bus is awful.
