Bricklist notes: Morten Rauff designed the Townhouse Pet Shop & Café, and I was in charge of designing the B model. I wanted to go for a long one-storey row of shops, whilst Morten designed the C model as a thin tall building.

FUN FACTS:
- I filled my street with a hair salon (because of my love of the art of hairdressing), a dentists’ practise (because I love visiting the dentist), and a tram stop with tram (because of my love of trams).
- Morten decided to hide the moulded scissor element in the main model just for me to use in the hair salon in my B model <3

Bricklist notes: The first model I designed by myself since being hired as a full-time designer! This set sees the successor to the classic Spyrius Droid and Ann Droid minifigures with the introduction of Cyber Droid! I got a brand new face decoration for this figure, which was drawn up beautifully by Graphic Designer Matt Parsons.

FUN FACTS:
- This model borrows its Orange and Sand Blue colour scheme from the 2004 Creator set 4508 Titan XP.
- The B model Cyber Mech was inspired by the 2006 Exo Force set 7701 Grand Titan, featuring a laser arm and a claw arm.
- Element 30602 appears here in Sand Blue for the first time since the 2002 Attack of the Clones set 7103 Jedi Duel!

Bricklist notes: I was tasked to design a polybag dog that also offered a 3in1 experience - hard to achieve with so few pieces! With so many joints, as well as the nougat and black colours, it was obvious the B and C models should be a spider and snake, which also each of the three animals has a different number of legs!

FUN FACT:
- The dog comes with a frisbee, not only because it is a fun accessory, but because I needed a 4x4 base to build the spider off. I chose orange because this blended best with the nougat colour.

Bricklist notes: I made a concept for the brick-built giraffe way back when I was on internship - the head build didn’t change at all in the 3 years between then and launch! The original concept for the tree house actually had a hinging function, with a hinge brick hidden in the rock area. This would mean you can unfold the model to have two tree houses with a bridge connecting them!

FUN FACTS:
- I wanted each of the alternate models to look coherent, so decided to omit one of the main colours from each: the biplane doesn’t include any blue, and the catamaran doesn’t include any red. I made the two 1x1x1 2/3 bricks with side studs inside the giraffe red so that I would have even more red for making the plane.
- At the time of writing, this set has the highest NONSOA (Number Of Named Species Of Animals) of any minifigure-scale LEGO set, totalling 7: Giraffe, Flamingo, Southern Yellow-Billed Hornbill, Lion, African Lovebird, Nile Crocodile and Marabou Stork.

Bricklist notes: This set will always be special to me because I designed the whole thing from home during the COVID-19 pandemic! Whilst being exactly the same dimensions as the previous Creator 3in1 shuttle from 2017, this new design packs in double the pieces and retractable landing gear. I am very pleased with the alternate models being two more iconic space vehicles, especially the lunar lander as it’s grey and yellow colours aren’t at all visible in the main model :)

FUN FACTS:
- The super awesome astronaut minifigure who pilots the shuttle is also a playable character in the Unity LEGO Micro Game. The Unity team were looking for an astronaut character to be the main character in the game, and decided to use my design from the upcoming set!
- This is the first Creator 3in1 set with just one minifigure where that minifigure is female <3

Bricklist notes: At 755 elements, and is one of the largest brick-built animals ever created by the LEGO Group! We have tried many times to make tigers in LEGO Creator before but they have never come to be because the stripes are never convincing, but this much larger scale and some techniques using a relatively new inverted arch element have allowed for the result you see here! The brick-built stripes and face are all finished off very nicely by a new decorated double cheese-slope, created by graphic designer Matthew Parsons.

FUN FACTS:
- Different options were tried for the B and C models, but ultimately the Red Panda and Koi Fish were chosen as all three animals share the common geographical habitat of Eastern Asia (and also because they are all orange, white and black in colour! )
- The side-build with the Tiger exists only to provide necessary parts for the alternate models! The black 1x2 plate with two bars that angles the bamboo is only there to pose the Red Panda's ears, for example.

Bricklist notes: As a big fan of trains all my life, it was a great pleasure to design my first official LEGO Train product! This model was created to offer a train-building experience at a much lower price-point than what is typically seen in the LEGO portfolio, resulting in a train that is very close in scale to H0/00 model trains.
FUN FACT:
- As a very train-obsessed child, I would be frustrated with high-speed train toys that only had one-directional connectors on the back, meaning you couldn't accurately connect two train "heads" back-to-back for reverse travel. Consequently, I made sure to include an additional connector that can be swapped out (as well as extra carriage number stickers!) so that builders can create a full 4 car trainset with reversed heads :)

Bricklist notes: James May began the design process on this set, but unfortunately had to move off the project to go and work on Friends. So I stepped in and took over, finishing up the main model and creating the B and C models. This happens a lot with the development of LEGO products, and results in a very collaborative process!
FUN FACT:
- There are only 7 different colours of LEGO brick in this set! I made sure that each of the alternate models omitted one of the highlight colours (Jet uses no blue, Dragon uses no red) to make it appear like the two vehicles would combine together to form the Super Robot!

Bricklist notes: This model was developed to celebrate the LEGO Group's 90th birthday! The design process was incredibly exciting for this set as I got to research EVERY SINGLE LEGO product that had ever been released to decide which should be included. Originally there were only meant to be 10 models, but we realised that 15 worked much better for including everything we needed.
FUN FACTS:
- The Secret of the Sphinx model includes three elements that were introduced for the Adventurers line in 1998 that we still us today, as well as the replica of the decorated Obelisk.
- There are a number of additional models from other non-licensed LEGO themes hidden in the brickpile, which ones can you find?
- For the train fans, the miniature version of the Blue Train reintroduces the small train wheel in red, previously only available in an employee Christmas gift. This little blue train is also compatible with 40518 High-Speed Train, which I had designed earlier in the year!
- This set contains the 7th official incarnation of the BIONICLE Tahu in a buildable LEGO product! Find the power!

Bricklist notes: My first LEGO Harry Potter set that I worked on as designer! Nico Vas was supposed to design this set, and I was supposed to design 11022 Space Mission for Classic, but we decided to swap products to experience new design challenges :)
FUN FACTS:
- Near the end of the development of this model, I had the opportunity to visit the real filming location for Grimmauld Place in London! No images of the street online showed the chimneys or TV antennas of the building, so I was super pleased that seeing them in real-life allowed me to accurately represent them on this model.
- The minifigures and graphics were designed beautifully by Peter Kjaergaard, who had lots of fun drawing all the tiny faces of the Black family tree, and creating the first ever minifigure version of Kreacher the House Elf!

- The original brief for this set was to simply make an expansion of the 90 Years of Play set, so it originally contained Classic versions of 6923 Particle Ioniser, 4603 Res-Q Wrecker and 8596 Takanuva, but the brief then changed to focus of just car-based sets.
- The 4 chosen cars were not only selected becasue of their iconic statuses, but also becasue they were made predominantly from the original 5 LEGO colours: White, Black, Red, Yellow and Blue.

FUN FACT:
- What do you think the Witch keeps in those small pouches on her belt? The pieces needed to build the cat alternate build of course! I needed the Wolverine claws and 1x1 plates with bars to create the cat's whiskers and ears respectively, so hid them in the Witch model in the belt pouches.

Bricklist notes: Winter holidays are here! As I was building at this small scale, I wanted the train to be a narrow gauge locomotive, similar to those found in the Welsh mountains, as they look inherently cute and chibi-looking.

- This train is compatible with 40518 High-Speed Train, and the blue train in 11021 90 Years of Play, establishing the LEGO Creator and Classic train system.

Bricklist notes: Designed collaboratively with Nico Vas! Nico and I came up with this idea one afternoon, and everyone loved it so much it pretty much became an official product by the end of the day. This features loads of new decorated elements, including mouths and eyes, allowing you to create monkeys with so many different emotions! All the new graphics were created beautifully by Matt Parsons!
FUN FACT:
- All of the new eyes were actually designed for sets 11027 Creative Neon Fun and 11028 Creative Pastel Fun, however this set ended up being released first.

Bricklist notes: The second LEGO Harry Potter set I worked on as a designer! I always wanted the original set based on this scene, 4762 Rescue from the Merpeople, but was never lucky enough to own it - so was super excited to get to work on this new version. Also having lived in Brighton, England, for several years I am very fond of Victorian seaside architecture, so loved bringing the Victorian-style observation deck into LEGO bricks for the first time.
FUN FACT:
- We really wanted to pay homage to set 4762 when designing this set: the minifigure lineup is identical; the crab in colour 191 makes a return; the heightened colour-scheme of the underwater section was maintained; and although completely unintentional, the product number contains all the same digits as the original!

Bricklist notes: At 7 total dogs, is this the most dogs in a LEGO set ever?? Maybe! A lot of dog-math went in to figuring out which 3 dogs should be in the main model to allow for the most different popular dogs to be built in the four alternate dogs.
FUN FACT:
- The accessories that come with the dogs not only allow you to take good care of your new canine friends, but also facilitate making the additional dogs: the clips on the brush and bars on the toy rabbit allow the black ears of the pug to be constructed, for example!

Bricklist notes: I have been pitching a LEGO Creator Unicorn for years, so I'm super happy I finally got to work on this one! The B model (Seahorse) was designed by my fellow Creator designer Irma Svenningsson, and the C model (Magical Bird) was designed by VP of Design Matthew Aston! What a dream team!
FUN FACT:
- The unicorn used to have a 2x4 brick inside it, but was changed to two 1x4 arch bricks to allow the Magical Bird alternate model to have legs!

Bricklist notes: Dobby is free! We had tried many times before to build a brick-built version of Dobby, but they always didn't quite capture the character properly. One day I decide to take a different approach: instead of trying to accurately copy what Dobby looked like I just tried to build how I remembered his personality, and everyone loved the result!
FUN FACT:
- The pieces used for the top of Dobby's head and his mouth were all created for Disney's Cars line, however were both already recoloured into 283 Light Nougat for 10280 Flower Bouquet!
