Bricklist notes: The markets wanted a fox done similarly to 31150 Wild Safari Animals, and I was glad to take on the challenge. The main differentiators between this and 31150 are its clearer color blocking, its "fur" texture, and its sit-to-stand poseability-- which proved difficult to incorporate successfully. I'm especially pleased with the polished B & C models here.

Bricklist notes: My first Botanicals model, and one of the first of the theme aimed at kids. It was a refreshing change of pace to work on these adorable little planters-- I especially loved getting to design the pilea plant and work towards such smooth, rounded shapes in the planters. As a team, we tried out so many different pot colors and facial expressions before settling on the ones you see in the final product.

Bricklist notes: This animal proved to be a huge engineering challenge, due to horses' top-heavy anatomy and our desire for the horse to be able to stand with one foreleg up in an iconic way. The solution we settled on was to include a detachable display stand, which allows for the horse to stand in a foolproof way, as well as rear on its hind legs. Despite the difficulty during the process here, I am happy with the model's sleek coat, beautiful colors, and facial expression!

Bricklist notes: It was a treat to design my first Creator "Art & Design" set! I inherited a strong sketch model from Irma, which had been additionally optimized by Morty (who I have to credit with both the genius rotary dial mechanism, and the "pagoda plate" sticky note corner, both of my favorite details of the model). I'm proud of the nice hang-up function, the slick body, and how the "C Model" makes not just one, but two 2000s cell phones.
