Also some Technic. My dark ages began somewhere around Ice Planet (that's 1993 to non-Space geeks) which coincides with the start of high school for me. I guess only kids play with Lego. They ended freshman year of college when I discovered eBay and that only kids think only kids play with Lego. The leap in my building style is apparent with my Skyraider model.
First set was Basic #722. First space set was #6861 X-1 Patrol Craft. My favorite set is #6931 FX Star Patroller from 1985 (a great year for Space--see my review). Honorable mention goes the more recent Apollo Rocket, an amazing set. Which, hey, is also Space! - Contact:
