• The most time spent flying around the room, in this ship.

Written by (Unspecified) in United Kingdom,

This was so good I had a fleet of three of them, lined up on the runways all next to each other.
They were so versatile, the concorde nose dipped down for landing like the real concorde, and the back doors opened you could build the mini containers and modify them to carry pods with buggys and equipment.
So much fun, so much time, we renamed them on our estate the priate ships, meand my friends together must of own about nine of them together, and spent a lot of time out back, I needed extra runway space for when any came around.
It had a very sturdy frame and took some good crashes and the space guy never fell out and I never thought it weird he had a steering wheel to fly this thing.

  • I had this set but never got a train

Written by (Unspecified) in United Kingdom,

I remember this one well, the springs on the fork lift broke very soon, and we tried so hard to fix it. I never got a train set and never understood why this was bought for me. It did look good and the doors and forklift made up for no track.

    My first Space fixer.

This set first set me on the addiction to space lego sets, its was very course and bland, I can not remember its attraction, but it seemed to have me setting it up in so many ways, the bricks eventually melded into the BIG BOX, and I remember it was a present for my dad coming back off excersize. So its a special one in my heart, even though its was so faded in my memory.
The lunar lander top half fell off so easy so I was forever dropping it whilst flying around the room.
The wrath of the Mums Vacum was to start here !
