    Great Small Pack

Written by (TFOL) in United States,

This set has a combination of everything you might want. It would fit in well in a monkie kid display, or any Asian display or moc.

The build is simple, but nice, and putting the lantern on was satisfying. The monkie minifigure included has side leg printing, which is nice to see on a small set like this. The smaller boxes are printed, and it has a pigsy logo, which connects it to the other monkie kid sets. The brown chicken is always nice to get as well.

The minifigure's tail holds a staff, which in turn holds the boxes and is a great play feature. On the side of a build is also a 2x2 brick with holes, so you could connect this build to another monkie kid set.

Overall, even though this set is small, it's mighty.

    Monkey King Marketplace Set Review.

Written by (TFOL , silver-rated reviewer) in Canada,

This is my review for the Monkey King Marketplace set.

    This set/polybag has a whopping 66 pieces :o)

It has one minifigure, the Monkey King, which is the entire reason I bought this set and probably the reason for many people to buy this set because the build overall is not too great, but not horrible either.

The build is a tiny market stand with what looks like a cookbook, some dumplings and vegetables. This set comes with a small chicken which is another reason I bought it to add the chicken to my Ninjago collection. Also, the set comes with the Monkey King's Bo-staff and some boxes that the Monkey King is carrying on his staff, held by his tail. It is kind of cool that the Monkey King minifigure can hold things in his tail. It comes with a few unique pieces, like the two tan 65886's and a nice lantern build. There are also two Technic pins on the side to connect to things like the Ninjago City modular sets or possibly other Monkey King sets or even just a modular city.

And that's it for this review. I hope this was helpful.
