This promotional Toy Story set is awesome! This is why:

Buzz
Buzz Lightyear has to be my favourite ever minifigure. He is made up of 7 fantastic pieces which include a new, very detailed head, new wings, Buzz's chest armour, a visor for the armour, a torso and, of course, legs. The detail is very cool from the Space Rangers symbol to the buttons on his chest.

The Ship
Although this space ship didn't appear in the Toy Story movies, it has some fantastic pieces! The ship is very sturdy and has a very rare printed roof-tile with the Space Rangers logo on the front. This set has quite a few purple and lime-green wedges (one more of each colour comes with this set as spares) which you dont often find in sets.

Value
This set is great value for £1.00, not only that, but you also get a free Daily Mirror paper!

Overall, this is a fantastic, great value set and if you have the chance to get one, get it!

this is the second Lego toy story promotional set that was free in the Sunday Mirror (£1 which is a bit more than usual).

pros:

• Buzz lightyear
• space rangers sloping brick
• purple 'cheesers'
• goes well with set:30070 (as a sort of chase scene)

cons:

• the rocket engine could be better designed

overall I'd give this set a 9/10 and is a great edition to the Lego toy story brand.

I got this with the daily mirror ireland. I recommend this set to any one who is a fan of toy story. Its a great way to get a buzz lightyear figure without getting more expensive sets. I always thought the buzz figure chest/armor piece made him too bulky but in the end its a decent minifig.The space ship is nice but nothing special and has a generic feel to it. The front of the ship is printed and is the same piece used in the build-a-buzz set. Overall this a nice addition to the toy story line.
