I remember this set.

This set appeals best to an age group of children who want just a minifigure to play with and some accessories and not a whole lot of bricks to be buidling with.

The down side that I can recall is that the letter was soon smudged and faded from play, or it's just age and quality of ink used for that era.

And after all of these years, I still have that mailbox and smudged letter. Boris is gone though.
