One Krabby Patty to-go!
LEGO SpongeBob SquarePants Set Review #1 - The Krusty Krab (2006)
The 2006 Krusty Krab set from the LEGO SpongeBob SquarePants theme is the first set of the theme. It comes with 295 pieces, and was released in 2006.
Build
The Krusty Krab is brought wonderfully into the world of LEGO. The set's exterior is a perfect rendition of the iconic resteraunt we all know and love. While not perfect, for example, the interior is quite empty, only featuring one table, and Mr. Krabs' safe and desk in-correctly placed, it more than makes up for it with it's exterior and price-point.
We also get a few other stuff. We get the iconic cashier boat, which is a very simple, but effective build, with SpongeBob's grill being behind it. With a great play feature we'll get into later. We also get a pretty neat dumpster build.
Minifigures
The minifigures we get in this set are pretty good for the most part. We get SpongeBob (in his "I'm Ready" expression), Mr. Krabs (exclusive to the set), Squidward and Plankton.
SpongeBob is a really good minifigure. The mold for SpongeBob is pretty much perfect, and while he's not exclusive to this set (having appeared in 2 others), the figure is still pretty much great.
Mr. Krabs is exclusive to this set, as mentioned. His torso printing is pretty versatile for many other minifigures and his head mold is also pretty much perfect. Mr. Krabs has grey hands, which was a strange and frankly, a bit jarring decision, but other than that, the figure is pretty great.
Squidward, unlike Mr. Krabs and SpongeBob, does not have a molded head, instead, being a regular LEGO head with Squidward's face. Squidward also has a pretty good torso-print. Like Mr. Krabs, Squidward also has grey hands, and two legs instead of four (understandable, considering he is a minifigure after all). The lack of a head mold for Squidward is a bit jarring, and him smiling is pretty much out of character, but overall is a fine figure.
Plankton, unlike the previous figures, isn't a minifigure, but rather just a 1x1 round brick with printing. People seem to give the Plankton minifigure a bit of flak for being just a printed 1x1, but honestly, I don't see any other way they could've made Plankton in minifigure form. It's a good minifigure (or part).
Parts
This set offers a decent amount of brown bricks, coins and money pieces. The green parts for the dumpster are also useful. The baseplate is also really good and people didn't really see a lot of those back in 2006.
Play Features
The set has a wide array of play-features, which makes sense, as this set was mostly marketed towards young-fans of SpongeBob. The play-features still hold up.
The first play feature I'll be covering is the grill play-feature. Simply put a patty onto the grill and push the lever and it'll go flying in the air. Try not to hit Squidward right in the head, as he's a bit moody.
The second play-feature I'll be covering is the dumpster play feature, simply place Plankton onto the closed dumpster and rotate the lever and he'll go flying back to the Chum Bucket.
While simple, the two of these play-features are still pretty effective, and I'm sure kids will be having a blast with them.
Conclusion
The 2006 Krusty Krab set is a really great set. With an amazing exterior, good minifigures, great parts and fun play-features, this set is really good, especially for SpongeBob fans. I recommend it.

awsome
I thought this set was awesome. I got spongebob mr.krabs squidward and plankton. It came with a boat, a patty flipping grill, an open and close desk, a safe and a dumpster. I loved to play with this set. I wish I still had it someone destroyed it. I rate this set 5/5 and I totally recomend this set to a friend. Thanks for reading.

"Keep flippin' patties, boy!"
This was a good first version of the Krusty Krab. It has a good, old Squidward figure, same with Mr. Krabs. But it has the same old Spongebob figure, as always. I liked the dumpster, which could flip patties like the grill (Ooh, weird). And the grill also has the order boat in front of it. It could have had maybe a jellyfish or two, but, oh well. I rate this set with 5/5

This is the best Lego set EVER!
This was my first Spongebob set and I got it for forty bucks. It should include more kitchen space and a spatula and uniforms, but it's not a big deal. Plenty of space inside the Krusty Krab. Nice accessories like the kelp and trash can (cute). This set has all the important mini figures, the cheap owner, Mr.Krabs. the two employees, Spongebob and Squidward, that evil little guy, Plankton. It would be nice if there was Patrick for a customer but I don't complain. It's my favorite set and I like how it's detailed and just looks like the real Krusty Krab. I would recommend this to any Spongebob fan. I rated it infinity out of 5. But I had to rate it here 5 out of 5. So go buy this amazing set!
