Set #40434 Reindeer: LEGO Creator’s line has always been this thing that I get Polybags for, but rarely venture into the larger sets, which is an issue I am slowly starting to rectify with this year’s Christmas Set and a Modular Building which reviews are coming for. But the Polybags continue to impress as well, case in point this year’s holiday builds are both pretty impressive, unfortunately I haven’t found the Santa Polybag yet. But I did get this little free item back in November and I really enjoyed building it.

Pros:

• Extremely good price point.
• Excellent and creative model design.
• Includes small present side-builds.
• Large selection of pieces.

Cons:

• Limited availability.
• Present side-builds can be lost or misplaced easily.
• Limited range of motion for the main model, no dynamic posing options.

Overall opinion

This was a great Gift with Purchase. A very impressive little festive holiday build and an excellent display piece. Also a very great idea to make a Reindeer model as if you have more than one you can build multiples to make the full set of 8 to pull Santa’s Sleigh. (9 if you have a spare red cheese slope to turn one of them into a proper Rudolph.) I liked this set and would recommend it highly to add to your holiday Christmas display. Recommended.
