I bought this set in The Netherlands in 2006. I have paid €60 for this set. I love the large ship and giant seasnake. There are 6 vikings in this set. On the boat there is a catapult to shoot the giant snake. I think this is a nice set for only €60. The troll boat from castle is €80, and that boat doesn't come with a giant snake. The small boat of the vikings is a nice extension too this set. Now on to the pros and cons.

Pros:

- Giant snake!

- Large boat with a catapult.

- 6 vikings: 1 viking leader with a gold tinted helmet and sword, 1 viking who shoots the catapult, 1 viking with a large axe, 1 viking with a silver tinted sword, 1 viking cook and 1 viking with an armorplate and a small axe.

- Fireplace by the mast.

- Large sail with a snake on it.

Cons:

- If you have all the viking sets, like me, you don't have enough space to place them all. That isn't nice.

- should have been little more expensive, with more vikings. (my opinion)

Overall it is a nice set with a lot of detail, like the shields on the side. If you like the viking sets, you should be this set.

The only problem with it is the missile launchers... but what were Vikings launching missiles for anyway? Take it off, and look at a phenomenal set!

The Viking Ship is a very cool ship. Not only does it come with six minifigs, but it also has a lot of room on deck.

I have probably played the most adventures with this set out of all my collection.

this set is very good. I got this set one year for chrismas from my parents at my uncles. unfortinatly, the dog chewed it up. stupid dog. but luckely, my other uncle got me the same set. soo i had two of these and the chewed one i took off the bitten parts and added my own lego collection to make a pirate ship. on with the pros and cons:

this is a very good set and if you get two, use YOUR lego collection to make your own ship.

This set is by far my favorite boat set. I forget what I got it for, but I am glad I told my mom to get me this instead of an Exo-Force tank thing. I have had much fun with this set. The sail is incredible (Size and cool art). I also enjoy the Firing mechanism which is unrealistic, but it is a great play feature. The cage is also a cool idea. I enjoy making up characters and putting them in the cage to play with. The fire and spit are one of the coolest designs by LEGO I have seen so far. I also added some things to the set such as an oar holder for when all of the vikings need to fight. Some of the small bad things are the mast (it sometimes breaks)and the firing mechanism (somtimes the missles only go 2 inches or they don't fire at all), but don't let that get in the way of your fun. This is an awesome set overall, and if you get the chance to buy it any where, you should definately buy it.
