Automatic Jealousy Creator!
Great model, with amazing and magical details, I like that the glasses are wearable and that the wand is "useable", a few details I feel were left out were, a light brick in the wand as well as the title of the books would've added extra character, also, an alternate first plate for the letter should've been included and said Harry Potter! Also, an included horcrux would've been sweet, nevertheless this set passes all of my tests, and is worthy of being my best and most expensive set, even though Harry Potter isn't even my favourite theme (marvel and dc) this set feels authentic in it display and presentation! Thank you, Thank You, Nick Vas and LEGO and i hope you come out with more large scale sets like this! (like a marvel one or dc- a Captain America shield and iron man gauntlet and Tony Stark glasses, star lord helmet, Iron Man arc reactor, eye of agamoto and more) or for batman a Utility belt and batarang a wonder woman lasso a couple of power rings for the lanterns, kryptonite, cyborg, robot parts, a lantern also for green lantern, A trident for aquaman, W.W bracelets, joker spray flower, the riddler cane, two faces coin, a small Lazarus pit, some nth metal, motherbox helmet of fate, some built lighting or a flash helmet mask. A joker camera, a Harley hammer. A freeze gun,
They can make a separate villains marvel, heroes marvel and dc villains and dc heroes
and the GOLDEN figures can be the justice league and so on!
Overall love this concept, and am happy i bought this set!!!

Many Iconic items of Harry Potter
In 2021 marks the 20th year of LEGO Harry Potter. To celebrate the anniversary, 9 gold collecable minifigures were made, the roof of the Hogwarts sets was made in sand green, and this $300 set. Giving us many of the iconic items along with Hedwig in one large set.
The Books
You start building the first part of the main build after the first bag of the Glasses, Wand and Liquid Luck. Out of the 3 books you have built, only the bottom one is a specific book, "Tom Riddle's Diary", as the base of the set. Having nearly all the connections between the sides and other parts of the build.
Sadly, with this and the wand there is a mixel socket & joint. So, there are no option of wanting it there or not. It's sad that only the Wand and Scarves don't have different placements or put them wherever you like. They could've just let gravity do what it wanted with the wand, having the placement on it feel natural. And if you think the mixel joints wouldn't be noticeable, then I'm sorry to inform you that they are, even on the box.
Hedwig
A new piece was made to build Hedwig, alongside another set. It was used for the inside of the owl and could be useful for similar inner builds, and maybe even towers or connecting roof lamps.
But for the owl itself, it has many individual feathers to put together and take apart, along with the legs being disconnected from its body. But when moving this set, you definitely want to disconnect the owl from its legs. As part of the leg's connections are only connected by two axles, there could be a risk of breaking those if accidentally dropped, especially from a large height.
It's a great looking design with a smooth design. Though it's a statue, there's many but very limited movable connections for every feather. As for the head, it looks really adorable. It can make a 360 turn.
The Golden Snitch
A good job was done to make the snitch as it's round shape as it can be, using those dish pieces. And with not wanting to use any form of plastic wing, the hotair balloon piece are a nice substitute.
Harry's Glasses
The first thing you start building is Harry's glasses, which also brought a new piece to make them, that has been used again in later sets such as the Quidditch Trunk in gold. Fun fact, you can actually wear them, and they can stay on your face perfectly fine. It's simple and fits perfectly for this set as they are the most iconic piece of Harry Potter.
Harry's Wand
It's the right size for my hand. The hilt uses some rockclaw pieces, but kept it at the end parts and made sure not to feel uncomfortable, no matter how you hold the hilt. The only annoying part is the mixel joint. It is used to attach to the main build. Wish they would've added two more 1x2 door rail pieces. (least their common pieces)
Potions
There are 5 potions. In the first bag have 'Felix Felicis Liquid Luck', and much later, in bag 19 with 4 potions in the same shaped bottle.
I'm guessing because of the size, shape and the fact that it is sideways on the ground, they went with a glow in the dark over the colour that is literally shown in the instruction. While the glow in the dark is nice, I don't understand why they went with that colour over an accurate one.
The other potions as mentioned have the same exact build, only with different stickers and coloured studs inside, except for one that has vines in it. The number of studs are different for each of them (50, 60, 70), which is nice seeing them not in the same amount. Not to mention, the stickers are also nice as well, though do expect to have a little trouble putting on the one with a diamond shape.
House Scarves
It's only the small end part of the Scarf and not the full one, which is meant to look like it's under the book. The set gives you parts to make the 4 houses, but you are only able to make two; Gryffindor or Hufflepuff, and Slytherin or Ravenclaw.
Simply a piece that doesn't work by itself, less it can just be a ripped up flag.
Chocolate Frog
They were so close to making it an all brown frog, but 2 pieces got in the way of it. I couldn't help but notice the transparent part of the frog. It's still a very good frog to say the least, it doesn't have much of pose ability, it mainly just stays as it is, and I think that is just fine.
Hogwarts acceptance letter
The final thing you build in the set is your acceptance letter, made up of 3 printed '16x8 tiles' and a few other pieces to keep them connected to each other and to the main build. I really like how they make the pieces be bent rather than just being straight, making it feel connected to the main set.
The name part of the page is left blank to (not, why would you do such a thing honestly) put your name in.
20 Years of Harry Potter Display Stand
As this set was released during the 20 years of LEGO Harry Potter, with 3 gold minifigures included in the set. A display stand was made for them, with Dumbledore in a brick built 'chocolate frog card'. Along with being in the middle is a round 2x4 tile with 'LEGO Harry Potter'.
It didn't need to be included, but the set also has an extension for the display for the other gold minifigures during the year. It is good that this was added for the people who obtained the others, but at the same time, it does raise the price.
Chocolate Frog Card
While there are very noticeable gaps on the card, and it was a little troublesome connecting the clips, it does a fine job at giving its shape.
The one thing I'm a little annoyed about though is that we only get a print with Dubledore's name. There are none for the other characters if you want to give them a CFC as well. Would've been inconsistent, but I would accept having stickers for the others.
All Together & Overall
While I wish there were some flexibility and the side build were more optional, it looks amazing all together, fitting very nicely. My only other minor complaint would be not using a transparent piece to hold the Snitch, especially as there are pieces that could've filled the role, such as 42445 and 32009.
Nevertheless, this is a near perfect display set for any Harry Potter fans, along with any owl lovers. Plus, you can also have a little bit of fun with the wand and glasses.

Review 76391-1: Hogwarts Icons - Collectors' Edition
Overall, this was a fun build and really challenged my rusty LEGO building techniques.
Pros- Looks great, great value
Cons- The play aspects are lost on the AFOL IMO.
