    What a letdown...

Written by (TFOL) in United States,

This puny little set shows that it is worth saving money for sets you want. This was a big mistake on my part. This set comes with a rock, and a figure. The figure is kind of cool. That is all. Goodbye:D

I got this from our local Market, before Christmas!

    Minifig: 4/5
The minifig looks great, but the face looks a little strange.
    The weapon is unique.

    Playability: 2/5
You need something to play with it.
    Good army builder.

    Design: 1/5
This set is a minifigure set.
The rock piece is useless and you don't do nothing with it!

    Build: 2/5
    Fast to build.

    Parts: 3/5
The minifig and it's weapon is unique.

    Overall: 2/5

    Pros: Minifig, good army builder.
    Cons: Awful rock piece.

    Terribly dull

Written by (AFOL , gold-rated reviewer) in Australia,

I bought this set because I was interested in the Manta Warrior but did not intent to collect the Atlantis line. I was more dissapointed than I thought I would be dissapointed.

    Pros

    • Golden trident
    • Cute angry manta minifig head
    • Manta 'mask' is made of rubbery plastic and very well sculpted

    Cons

    • The head articulation is restricted by the mask. I felt they could have redesigned it easily to not do this.
    • The body decos are quite bland and tacky. I see limited applications in MOCs
    • The seaweed-rock is possibly one of the most boring impulse 'accessories' ever. It contains few overall parts and the green seaweed is about as interesting as the parts get (which is to say not at all).
Overall this set is only useful for those who want to build an army of Manta Warriors and nothing else. I would not buy this for your kid. There are plenty of other impulses that will stimulate their brain and provide entertainment value. This set is simply not worth it for the parts. Next time I want a pearl gold trident i'll go to bricklink.
