buc.ci is a Fediverse instance that uses the ActivityPub protocol. In other words, users at this host can communicate with people that use software like Mastodon, Pleroma, Friendica, etc. all around the world.

This server runs the snac software and there is no automatic sign-up process.

      2/ Call links: In 2024 introduced the possibility to invite people to group calls via a simple link. No need for participants to be in a joint Signal group first or be even otherwise connected on Signal. Links a temporary, can be named, and there are raise-hands and other features. With the exception of breakout rooms, Signal has become a real replacement :)
