Assigns and reports daily West Texas stories, produces a 30-minute newscast, assigns coverage to reporters and photographers, handles breaking-news calls, writes broadcast and web content, and edits video packages. The role also requires newsroom judgment, quick decision-making, initiative, AP style knowledge, and some management experience.

Anchor sports newscasts, report and produce multimedia sports packages, shoot and edit video, publish breaking stories across digital platforms, engage audiences on social media, lead high school sports coverage, and develop enterprise features through local relationships.

Supports the WLBT sales management team, multimedia sales staff, and clients by entering and maintaining broadcast and digital orders, verifying accuracy, producing performance and management reports, supporting political-season FCC uploads, providing customer service, and assisting with sales presentations. The role requires strong organization, communication, prioritization, time management, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
