Buying a new camp jacket at Blacks in Bath.
Peter who served me could not have been more helpful. I had to stand in the doorway as I had a very expensive bicycle which I had no means to lock up and needed to keep an eye on it. Peter graciously got me the jacket I was interested in and brought it to me where I tried it on after trying on two different sizes I made my choice and again Peter helped me pack the jacket into it's stuff sack and then into a dry bag which I purchased so I could put it in my pannier for the journey home. Peter also answered any questions I had having good product knowledge. At no point was Peter pushy just helpful. I was very happy with the entire experience. This was in the Bath branch of Blacks. I can whole heartedly recommend this store.

My experience at Blacks Glasgow was made so so amazing because

I had to return my first pair of…
I had to return my first pair of walking poles as they wouldn’t stay up. I ordered a different brand from the store but because their stock was showing two (they could only locate one), your system cancelled my order. I spoke to your customer service and they told me how to order and get them delivered to store. However there wasn’t an option to do that so I ended up paying for delivery to my home.
Thankfully the new walking poles are much better.

Refunds take far too long
Nothing wrong with the order itself. Tried to cancel within seconds as i ordered wrong size. Said they cant so i returned. However Refunds take far too long. So for that reason i Would never shop online here again.

Great value jacket
The Peter Storm Downpour 3 in 1 is a lovely jacket, not overly bulky and the fleece is fitted nicely inside. The only downside is I would prefer a black fleece but the purple one is a nice colour. I have the Downpour rain jacket as well and it's great against the elements and this one adds that extra layer for winter. The peached fabric and block colour makes the jacket less sporty and casual and more everyday wear. For its versatility and price, it's a great looking and wearing jacket, love it. I used click and collect and it was fine.

Friendly & very good services
Sales assistant Nion was very helpful. There were two mountain boots we were looking for but without correct size. He then brought out all the correct size in the price range for us to try on. The services were 5 out of 5.
